Wow, does Todd look fierce when he's facing off with Copper in the final scene. Too fierce, in my opinion; his mouth grows to like twice it's normal proportions. If it were up to me I'd sacrafice fiercesness in order to keep Todd looking more like himself.
While Chief is chasing Todd for the second time, after Todd comes to see Copper, there is always a little piece of animation that makes me laugh. I can't give a specific time, but one of the times Cheif is show running towards the camera, it looks like he's running in place. Like he's physically standing still and just picks up his front legs twice. Alright, so it's not funny when i'm describing it, but keep your eyes open for it next time.
Want to know what my favorite scene is? Okay, I'll tell you. It's the "Goodbye May Seem Forever" sequence, when Tweed drops off Todd at the game preserve. The time when I went years without watching the movie, this scene literally reduced me to a bawling, sobbing, mess. It's just so sad, he's dropped off, alone for the first time in his adult life. You know, I felt the same way when I first went to college. I was completely unprepared to be away from my family, not to mention my familiar surroundings. At least the day I was dropped off it wasn't raining. Also like Todd, I was able to find some good friends to help me adjust, so at this point I'm just waiting for my Vixey to come along. Heh heh. However I have the feeling that I'm an even worse fisher-fox than Todd. I remember the first time I saw the movie, I saw how Todd and Vixey were set up, and thought "wow, man". Could it have been a more perfect situation? Personally I don't think so.
Don't you think it's funny when Vixey asks Big Mama what Todd looks like? I mean, what is she expecting her to say, "Well he has red fur, a big bushy tail..."? She ought to have said "He's a fox, you empty headed female!". Haha, I crack myself up sometimes. No offense intended to Vixey of course, I'm sure she's very intelligent. She did notice that something wasn't right after Amos has laid down his traps, after all. | |
